In May 2016, I returned from a year of traveling around the world and exploring different cultures and ways of living. Over the course of 11 months, I traveled to 14 different countries across 3 continents - I volunteered, backpacked, camped, and couch-surfed my through Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, The Netherlands, France and Spain.
During my travels, I felt inspired to started a blog that documented themes of exploration, discovery and personal growth. Click here visit www.alsodelighted.com and read further.
Though my travel blog mainly centers around self-development, my experiences this past year are also relevant to my work as a designer. From different color palettes, textures, and patterns across the globe - from night markets, art galleries and coffee shops to street art, spiritual ceremonies, and collaborative hands-on projects - I have curated a rich collection of new ideas and inspiration.
More than ever, I am hot on the pursuit of the limitless applications of design to our daily lives and the creative implications this has on our day-to-day experiences.
