Superhero

This mural was designed to brighten one of the large, grey portable classrooms at Lafayette Elementary School in West Seattle. Commissioned by the PTA, the direction was very open with one stipulation: make something that brings some cheer to the schoolyard and the adjacent playground. Inspired by the school's mascot, the Lafayette Leopards, the mural depicts a kid blowing bubbles towards a leopard cub on the opposing side of the wall, poised to pop the bubbles on it's nose.

Puget Sound Legends

Mural created in partnership with NINE dot ARTS for Mainstreet Property Group LLC at Siteline Apartments near Seattle Center. The design is intended to embody Seattle's spirit and gives a special nod to some of the legends that have made rock-n-roll history here, including Jimi Hendrix, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam. The skyline in the foreground and the North Cascades and Mount Rainier in the background highlight the architectural and natural beauty of the city. If you get up close, you can see more details in the windows!

Goldfinch

Mural created to brighten interior hallway of The Pine apartments in Kirkland, WA. The mural includes a realistic goldfinch to complement the building's outdoorsy brand narrative, as well as abstract geometric color blocks created with textured drybrush and taped edges for a more fun and contemporary look.

Bespoke Botanicals

This mural is for a dental studio in the northern end of Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood. The owner has a love of tropical plants which is reflected in the office's interior aesthetic, and this piece was designed with that in mind. The mural includes Palm fronds, Monstera leaves, Bird of Paradise, and Fern, which are among the owner's favorites, and the same as some of the plants in the lobby.

The dental studio is located on a popular neighborhood intersection, and the mural design includes signage to help give the dental studio a sense of presence near a busy thoroughfare.

The overall size is ~ 15' x 25,' painted in a combination of spray and brush paint.

Shipyard

A mural for a new Amazon innovation lab in South Lake Union designed in the likeness of the lab’s logo, which includes an octopus resting on top of the iconic Pacific Tower in Beacon Hill, an emblem of Seattle and a symbol for cross-organizational collaboration.

The composition consists of an octopus resting on a pile of equipment illustrated from references found in the lab, along with tentacles entering from the upper left holding everyday items such as keys, a magnifying glass and a camera. While most of the lab instruments are highly technical, generally speaking the team works to unlock, discover, and capture new findings, and the playful contrast between the two creatures highlights this narrative.

Stargazer Lily

This mural is for a residential client in North Capitol Hill, Seattle. Throughout the neighborhoods of Seattle and Cap Hill, there are beautiful gardens blossoming with all kinds of flowers in the spring and summer. The inspiration behind the mural is to create a larger-than-life garden experience to surprise and delight passers by. The Lily is made with spray paint as the base, detailed with brush paint on top.

Nature Forms

These murals were designed for Urban ArtWorks, in partnership with American Capital Group for the Kinect @ Shoreline apartments. The artwork is designed emulate natural elements such as water, air, land and sun, complementing the rest of the art program in the building and creating a sense of movement on the 2nd floor landing. These murals were designed as a set, totaling four sides of two concrete shear walls, each found at an opposing ends of the landing.

Each wall is ~8'x30'

Garden of the Mind

Mural painted on interior lightwell patio of private apartment, November 2023. This piece is an exercise in meditative, improvisational painting; no concept sketch or composition was created beforehand.

Radiant Redmond

Mural designed for Redmond Art Walk's live painting event, August 2023. This mural was one side of a square plywood structure featuring three other local artists. The composition features silhouettes of people enjoying all that Redmond has to offer and is inspired by the PNW’s natural beauty, Redmond’s active culture (did you know it’s the bike capital of the Northwest?) and local icons such as Marymoor Park and the Redmond Station.

Standard Goods Ballard

Mural designed for the interior space of Standard Goods' Ballard location; designed in partnership with Urban ArtWorks and produced with the help of Standard Goods' team members as well as Starbucks' volunteers.

Amazon Chalk Murals

Temporary murals made in partnership with Urban ArtWorks painted on Amazon staircases throughout South Lake Union. Varying sizes, painted with chalk/water blend and tempera paint. Lasts several weeks to a month or two depending on weather, can be power-washed off.
